BRIDGE

The Rear Commodore is elected each year. After 1st year term, the Rear Commodore becomes the Vice Commodore.  After 2nd year term, the Vice Commodore becomes the Commodore. The bridge members, although present at all board meetings, do not hold a vote either individually or collectively.

BOARD Of DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors are each elected positions consisting of terms ranging from 1-3 years, depending on the election, position, and timing. The Board meets (at lest) 1 time per month for many hours to go over all operations, finance, and otherwise GIYC related happenings; at which decisions to best benefit the club. Each board member has 1 vote, regardless of the position.

 CLUB GENERAL MANAGER

The club general manager is hired by the board of directors and answers to the house chairman of the board of directors. All club employees are managed by the club's general manager.

 FLAG OFFICERS

COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

The Committee Chairman are those positions for which a member of the Bridge or a member of the Board appoints. Certain positions must be maintained each year in accordance to the GIYC bi-laws. Other positions can be created or deleted with the coming or goings of Board or Bridge members.

DELEGATIONS

The Delegations are appointed by the current Commodore in order to officially maintain communications, events, and goings on. The appointed spokespeople must be GIYC Past   Commodores.
